Tom Nuss always wanted to be a teacher but chose a career in computer science. After graduating from Purdue University in 1963, he went on to work for Navistar International for 40 years as a department manager.

But since his days as a teenager, Nuss also had an artistic hobby and nurtured that along the way.

Now, at age 91 and deep into retirement, Nuss is doing the two things he’s passionate about by teaching other seniors at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne how to paint.
